AWS Penetration Testing

Hands-on security testing of Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure

What we test

Scope of testing.

  • IAM policies, role chaining and privilege-escalation paths
  • S3 exposure, public-access mistakes and data-boundary checks
  • EC2, ECS / EKS, Lambda and service misconfigurations
  • VPC design, security groups, metadata abuse and logging coverage
Process

Mapped to the five phases.

The same discipline applies across every discipline we test.

  1. 01

    Scoping

Define assets, rules of engagement, timelines and testing type (black / grey / white box).

  2. 02

    Discovery

Reconnaissance, enumeration, threat modelling and attack surface mapping.

  3. 03

    Testing

Vulnerability identification and controlled exploitation to confirm impact.

  4. 04

    Reporting

Findings with CVSS scoring, evidence, business impact and remediation steps.

  5. 05

    Re-test

Verification of fixes and issuance of a closure report.

FAQ

AWS: common questions.

Straight answers on scope, method and deliverables.

What AWS services do you cover?

IAM policies and role chains, S3 exposure, EC2, ECS and EKS, Lambda, VPC and security groups — plus the logging coverage that would reveal an attacker.

Can you test without production access?

Yes. An assessment can run purely from external reconnaissance, or from read-only credentials you provide — whichever matches your rules of engagement.

Do you check for exposed secrets?

Yes. Hard-coded credentials, exposed keys, over-privileged roles and public-access mistakes are core findings in every cloud assessment.
